Things to know
Firstly we need to meet each other. This is obligation free and a great way to talk through your ideas in a relaxed environment. I will show examples of different ceremony types and extracts of passages, poetry and songs that can be integrated into your ceremony for that personal touch and unique experience.
Then if you are comfortable with me, we can then start paperwork and ceremony planning. At this point we confirm the date, time and location of the ceremony and arrange a deposit.
Some official paperwork is required when you decide you would like to proceed. This includes:
> A Notice of Intended Marriage form will need to be filled out at least one month and one day before the intended date of your wedding.
> You will need to produce a full birth certificate for both the bride and groom. A current passport can be accepted. Extracts of birth certificates are not acceptable. Both bride and groom must be over 18 years of age as do your two witness's. Photographic ID is required for both bride and groom and any witness that appears underage.
> If previously married, you will need to supply either a decree absolute or a death certificate.
> A Statutory Declaration must be signed before the ceremony, to state that each party knows no reason why they should not be married.
